There are many ballets or performances till date that have raised questions and agitated the audiences but this one is one of the most talked about examples of that. It was the avant-garde nature that was used by Igor Stravinsky to compose this piece which raised many eye brows and the reaction that is got was a reply to that new type that was used. The reaction of the audiences when they first saw this one was also equated with the word “riot” initially.
